### Add Usercentrics-ID in Config

For Including Usercentrics the "FoundationNg Usercentrics Consent Config" needs to be added in a Configuration Page. There, the following can be maintained:

- Activate Usercentrics Consent Management

Check to activate Usercentrics Consent Management on Pages affected by this Configuration Page.

- Use ITP Bridge Solution

When Checkbox "Use ITP Bridge Solution" is checked, then the standard Usercentrics Script is not delivered, and in its Place the ITP Bridge Script will be loaded.

- ITP Bridge Hosting Domain

ITP Bridge Script will be dynamically built based on the settingsID and the ITP Bridge Hosting Domain. Therefore, if ITP Bridge Solution is used, please enter ITP Bridge Hosting Domain.

- Load CMP in edit mode

Check to enable User Consent Management while being in Edit Mode.

- Usercentrics Consent ID

This is the Usercentrics-Consent-ID. It will be used, when the configured User Consent Management is loaded.

- Excluded Pages

Here added Pages will not have a Data Security Layer. This should be used for Pages like Data Security and Imprint, as those Pages must be accessible for Users without needing to interact with the Data Security Layer.

Please add the Page Path only without any .html appendix, like: **/content/solution/de/imprint**

But * as Wildcard is allowed at the end to exclude all Pages below, like:

**/content/eon-com/en/privacy/***

- Use the smart data protection

If activated, Usercentrics will block the Google Map and the Youtube-Player till consent is given and displays a Placeholder instead. But to make it work, correct Google Maps and YouTube Usercentrics Consent IDs must be entered below.

- Block Only Usercentrics Service IDs

This is an Option for **blockOnly Smart Data Protection** - to have Smart Data Protection only active for one or more Services (e.g. block only YouTube).

- Excluded Usercentrics Service IDs

Here added Usercentrics Service IDs will be excluded from Usercentrics, so it is not Working for these Services. It will be used, when the configured User Consent Management is loaded.

- Solution Style

The Style of the Placeholder that is shown, when the Smart Data Protector is active.

- Use the draft Version

This will be used if Preview Function of Usercentrics should be configured.

- User Centrics Template Mapping

This will be used if having custom Templates.

- Custom Consent Events (only relevant for Google's Consent Mode V2)

This is only needed if you are using Custom Templates in User Centrics. Therefore, create a Custom Event on the Usercentrics Website, e.g. "ucEvent". Then, add the Custom Event Name you created to the here to the "Custom Consent Events" Field.

- Default Google Advertising Services (only relevant for Google's Consent Mode V2)

If you have Custom Google Advertising Services*, ensure they are correctly configured.

Important: Do **NOT** add non-Google Services to this List, as it determines whether Consent for GTM will be granted. Adding other Services could result in GTM being allowed despite the User giving Consent for something entirely different.

* Note: not custom IDs, as Usercentrics recognizes them by Name

- Default Google Analytics Services (only relevant for Google's Consent Mode V2)

The Google Analytics Services field functions similarly to the Advertising Services field, but is specifically for Google Analytic Tools.

### Configure Usercentrics & Cookie Law Banner

When Usercentrics is included, the Cookie Law Banner will be shown on the published Page, where it opens automatically on first Load or on Click of Footer Bar Link (if configured - see below).

If automatic Openening does not work as it is not first Visit of the Page, Editor has to delete Local Storage and Cookies of the Browser and reload the Page. Then, it will open automatically.

The Cookie Law Banner itself and other Settings for Usercentrics needs to be configured Outside of AEM. Therefore, get in Touch with [Platform Service Owner](mailto:urs.kramer@eon.com) again.
