## What is the default file size limit for uploads in the Form Container?

The Form Container uses a default limit of **6 MB** for the *Allowed sum of file sizes*. Editors can adjust this value in the Form Container dialog (minimum 1 MB) according to their form requirements.

##### Images

## How are images optimized and cropped in AEM FoundationNG?

Images are rendered and automatically optimized via **Adobe Dynamic Media**. Instead of manual cropping, Dynamic Media generates automated **Smart Crops** based on standard aspect ratios (such as **2:1**, **16:9**, **4:3**, **1:1**, and **3:4**).

To ensure optimal display quality:

- Upload high-resolution master assets to the DAM.
- Select the appropriate aspect ratio within the Image Component dialog.
- Format conversion (e.g. WebP delivery) is handled automatically by Dynamic Media for the best balance between performance and visual clarity.

[Learn more about WebP Options](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/aem-basics/webp-image-options.html)

[Learn more about Dynamic Media](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/aem-basics/about-dynamic-media.html)

## What are the file naming standards for uploading images?

To prevent delivery issues across different browsers and caching layers, always ensure image file names adhere to standard web conventions before uploading them to the DAM:

- Use only **lowercase letters** (e.g. my-image.jpg instead of my-image.JPG).
- Use **hyphens (-)** to separate words instead of blank spaces or underscores.
- Avoid special characters, umlauts, or symbols.

##### Rules for the Element Name:

The Element Name is a technical Name and therefore, there are some Rules to make it work: Name must be UNIQUE, Just use lower Case Letters, No special Signs, No Blancs, No Numbers

## Linking

## How to create a Link to a specific Position on a Page?

First, Editor needs to ensure that the specific Position that should be linked has a known ID (called Anchor), then it can be linked in Format of:

For internal Links please use Anchor Link Function of Link Component.

[Learn more about Links](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/content-elements/link.html)

## What is an Experience Fragment?

Experience Fragments are used for a Lot of Components, like [Web Navigation](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/page-elements/web-navigation.html), [Third Level Navigation](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/page-elements/3rd-level-navigation.html), [Footer](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/page-elements/footer.html), [Modal](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/content-elements/modal.html), [Google Maps](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/specials/google-maps.html), and some more, as well as for [full Content Parts](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/content/foundationNG/en/specials/experience-fragments-content.html).

**But it should be used with care!**

[Learn More about Experience Fragment Handling](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/en/aem-basics/experience-fragment-handling.html)

## Tracking & Analytics

## How can I customize tracking parameters (elementID / toolID) on Teasers and Links?

In the component's **Tracking** tab/column, enable the override checkbox. You can then enter custom elementID and toolID values. If left empty or unchecked, the component falls back to standard default values (e.g. "links"). Custom tracking data is passed as flat key-value pairs directly to the Data Layer.
