![](https://www.eonshowroom.eon.com/cdm-assets/is/image/eon/page-properties-step03%3A2-1?fmt=webp)

- Canonical Link

Provide a canonical Link to point out the Source which should be indexed by Search Engines instead of URL to avoid duplicate Content.

- Alias

Editor can enter an Alias as Path for URL by keeping the Original Path in Backend. This can be used e.g. for Multi-Language Pages to have a Path in that Language but in Backend only use the same Writing per Language Node to keep Language Switch working.

**Keep in Mind:** There are no Special Characters allowed for this Field as it still is a Part of an URL.

- Redirect

Set this exclusively for internal Redirects. It can be used if a Page is outdated or should not be accessible.

- Set to temporary (302) instead of permanent (301)

By default, Redirect URL is a permanent Redirect (301). But by checking this Option also a temporary Redirect (302) is possible. This can be useful for SEO Optimization.

Editor can edit the Page by Selecting it and Choosing Edit on Top of the Viewport. This opens the Page in Editor View. Here, Editor can drag in Components by Clicking on the Plus Icon on the Parsys or paste copied Components in by Clicking on the Paste Icon.
