# Schema.org

Schema.org is a collaborative Initiative between major Search Engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, and Yandex. It provides a standardized Vocabulary or Schema Markup that Webmasters can use to Structure and annotate their Website Content. The Goal of Schema.org is to make it easier for Search Engines to understand the Meaning and Context of Web Content, leading to more accurate and relevant Search Results for Users.

### Description

Schema Markup is a Code that is added to the HTML of a Webpage to provide additional Information about the Content. It uses a specific Vocabulary of Tags or Properties that describe different Types of Entities, such as Products, Events, Organizations, Recipes, Reviews, and more. These Tags help Search Engines understand the specific Attributes and Relationships of the Content on a Webpage.

By using Schema.org Markup, Editors can enhance Search Engine Listings with Rich Snippets, which are additional Information displayed in Search Results.

For Example, a Recipe Rich Snippet might include the Cooking Time, Ingredients, and Ratings, while an Event Rich Snippet might display the Date, Location, and Ticket Information.

### Schema.org Activation on FoundationNg Site Config

At first, for Rendering Microscheme Attributes of Schema.org the Checkbox "Allow Schema.org Attributes" needs to be activated.

### Schema.org Setting per Component

Afterwards, on each Element that should have Microscheme Attributes of Schema.org, Editor needs to activate it in Editor Dialog of that Element.
