### Add a Sitemap Page

Editor should add a Sitemap Page in Page Hierachie Level directly after Language Node. Therefore, Editor needs to choose the Language Node Page and clicks on it's Title, so it is highlighted. Then, click on Create Button and choose Page to create a Page on next Level of Hierarchie.

Afterwards, Editor needs to choose Page Template called "FoundationNG Sitemap Page Template", click on Next Button, and set at least a Title (used for Tab Name in Browser). **It is recommanded to set the Title as "Sitemap" as this is the only Way getting it work without additional Service Request.**

###### But Editor can also set other Properties:

- Name

Set the Name that is used in the URL for this Page.

- Tags

Select the required Tags in order to classify the Page for Filter Purposes.

- Page Title

Type in to define the Open Graph Tag Title like:

> <meta property="og:title">

- Navigation Title

Type in to set a Title to be visible in Navigation.

When Editor has made the Settings, the Page Creation needs to be confirmed by clicking on Create Button.

#### Keep in Mind

Only two Components will be available in the Parsys:

- Page sitemap
- Sitemap index

**But per Sitemap Page please only use one of it!**

### Edit a Sitemap

Editor can edit the Page by selecting it and choosing Edit on Top Bar. This opens the Page in Editor View. Here, Editor can drag in Componens by clicking on the Plus Icon on the Parsys or paste copied Components in by clicking on the Paste Icon.

### Sitemap Index

In Sitemap Index Component multiple Sitemap Page URLs can be added.

Also external URLs are possible.

#### Keep in Mind

Sitemap Index is only needed for Multi Language Sites.

**If you do not have a Multi Language Site, please do not use it!**

### Page Sitemap

For each Language Node a Sitemap Page with a Page Sitemap Component should be used.

There are no Configuration Options for Page Sitemap Component as it automatically collects all Pages of a Site if it is added to a Sitemap Page.

What is added can be previewed in "View as Published" Mode. But Editor needs to manipulate URL of "View as Published" Mode by replacing .html with .xml in URL. Then, it looks like in Screenshot.

> Example: "View as Published" mode:

> Manipulation:

### Publish a Sitemap Page

If the Sidemap is not named "Sitemap" or not placed directly under your Language Node, please get in Contact with the Platform Service Owner and ask for activating Paths of Sitemap Page(s), before publishing Sitemap Page(s).

**This means, a Service Request is needed.**

###### There are two Ways of publishing a Sitemap Page:

1. Editor can publish the Sitemap Page by selecting it and choosing Quick Publish on Top Bar of the Viewport.
2. Or Editor can publish the Sitemap Page from Page editing View by clicking first on Settings Icon in Top Bar of Viewport and choosing Publish Page from Dropdown.
