# Press & Event Details

### Description

The Press and Event Details Component can be used to store Meta Data of a Page, which will be used in Content Aggregator.

- It is only visible on Editor View
- It is maintainable in Top of a Page

### Usage Rules & Features

##### Features

- It is only visible on Editor View
- It stores Meta Data to be used in Content Aggregator

##### Properties

- It needs to be activated on Configuration Page
- It is maintainable in Top of a Page
- Image, Category, and Tags are optional
- Link Text to that Page is maintainable, or Link can be hidden

##### In which Grid Columns does it fit?

The Text and Event Details Component stands outside the Grid in Top of the Page. It is only visible on Editor Page.

##### DO's

- Always crop the Image if added
- Add Tags for Filtering Pages later in Content Aggregator

##### DONT's

- Do not add to long Text

## Configuration

### Press & Event Details Appearance

For making the Press and Event Details Component appear on the Pages, a Configuration Page needs to be created after the first Page that should contain this Component. It only needs to be created, if it not already exists, as a Configuration Page is also needed for some other Components as well. It would also be possible on Homepage Configuration Page if it should be activated for all Pages.

On Configuration Page, Editor needs to add Configuration for FoundationNg Content Aggregator Config and check Properties to enable Visibility of Component in Edit-Mode and to show Details on Pages.

After publishing the Configuration Page, the Press and Event Details Component appears on all Pages that are on Hierarchie Level of one before the Configuration Page and all after, till another Configuration Page changes this Configuration.

### Open Editor Dialog

The Editor Dialog can be opened by using the Content Tree on left Side, clicking on Press and Event Details, and selecting Tool Icon on the Component.

### Add & Crop Image

In Image Tab of Press & Event Details Component, Editor can add an optional Image and adjust it in same Way as for normal Image Component.

Adding the Image is optional, but if it is added it should be cropped as 2:1 Ratio.

### Required Data

Editor needs to set the Date and Time as Meta Data of the Page. This can be done by clicking on the Calendar Icon of the corresponding Input Field of the Press & Event Details Component.

Furthermore, a Headline and some Abstract Text are necessary to be added in there.

### Optional Data

Editor can also enter a Category and / or select one or more Tags from existing Tag List in the Press & Event Details Component.

Furthermore, Editor can set a Link Text for the Link, which will lead to this Page. It is also possible to hide the Link, but if hidding is choosen, please set the Page itself to Hide in Navigation as well.
